Online Bible Colleges: Spotlight on Liberty University

Liberty University is one of the most popular online Bible colleges, and for good reason.  They’re fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  That’s a regional accreditation association which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, which means in turn that your degree will be recognized by almost all other colleges, universities, and by employers as well.

Liberty offers a wide range of degree programs, from associate’s degrees to doctoral degrees, from pastoral degrees to business management degrees.  Whether you’re looking for a Master of Divinity or a BA in accounting, few online Bible colleges offer the fine reputation and multiple options that Liberty University does.

Liberty University also offers its students an enormous variety of accelerated classes.  Accelerated classes are 8 week courses–more intensive than regular classes, but completed in less time.  For students who are willing to take accelerated classes on a full-time basis, that can mean receiving their degrees from online bible colleges in half the time, or even less, that they would if they chose a traditional program. Many of Liberty’s accelerated classes are also available under their rolling admissions policy, which means you don’t have to wait for the “traditional” start of semesters and can schedule school around your life–instead of the other way around.

There are a lot of online Bible colleges out there.  They offer students the chance to expand their academic horizons and career opportunities while remaining true to their own spiritual standards.  Liberty University is one of these schools, and like other accredited online Bible colleges, their students are often qualified to receive financial aid.  Whatever you think your obstacles to higher education are, maybe you should start to reconsider.  Take a look at how many and how varied your options are before you give up.
